Maybe.

I don't mean to jerk you around, but you are not doing the basics here before swapping parts. What trans did you have? Does it say 1-2-3 OD on the shifter?

How long is it compared to the T19? Have you looked at the TC adapter? How long is your new TC compared to the old one?

Why change TC?

So is there an adapter between the trans and tc?

The T19 pattern on the rear of the 4x4 model trans shown here:

What does your trans look like? Where is the shifter? What is the case material? Any casting numbers on it? Does it look like the T19 at all?

Anything look like this?

NP 435 has an aluminum shift tower, and the cup pushes down and twists to remove the stick. Pic and discussion:

One with the shifter pulled off, although this appears to be a 4x2 job:

That's great. Does it look like the one's I posted?

Have you measured your trans and TC? And compared those measurements to the new trans/tc set up?

Am I understanding you correctly that you have a "new" T19 and 205 TC? Are those bolted together? Does the yoke or flange arrangement on the TC match your driveshafts?
