Disk Brake Upgrade - Wiring Diagram?

Good day all,
I completed my disk brake upgrade utilizing a 1973 F-100. The proportioning valve has the brake light connection and I'd like to install that light on my dash. Does anyone have a copy of the wiring diagram for this system? Thanks in advacne for all your help!
John

Dunno if any member of the 1961/66 forum will have a wiring diagram, because there were no dual master cylinders, Brake Pressure Differential Valves and brake warning lamp switches until 1967.

The plastic switch threads into the valve. It's the same (C8AZ-2B264-A) 1968/79 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline. 1967 switch is 1967 only.

There's a gazillion different 1968/79 valves, the valves used in 1967 are 1967 only.

I am hoping a member of the 61-66 forum who has done this disk brake upgrade using the 73-79 components may have a wiring diagram.

Send a message to Roger Carter. He did my brake conversion on 2 of my 66 trucks. He's the guy I go to when I have a problem. I assume you want to power the rear brake lights?

Thanks for the info. I'm not looking for rear brake light wiring, they work great!
I need to know how to wire the dash brake warning light that works off the brake warning light switch on the proportioning valve.

This may be of no help to you at all, but then again it may give you an idea. Looking at a Chilton's manual for '76 - '86 pick-ups (I realize you canned from a '73 but this may be similar), the low brake fluid warning light switch has two wires coming off of it, both are purple and white. One side goes to the ignition switch and the other side goes to the instrument panel printed circuit connector which would no doubt go to the warning light. So maybe you can create your own warning light, run one wire from the switch to it (don't forget to also supply a ground) and run another wire to the ignition switch. Good luck!
