May GTG or jump to June?

Our chapter keeps growing, it would be great to see some of the new people and of course the ones that have been here for a while come and join in the fun.

Lets get some good input on whether we should have a GTG in May or try to plan something for a camping weekend in June.

Our Schedule is pretty busy for May, 1st weekend the youngest graduates college, second weekend Keli's niece get married in Milwaukee, and of course everyone is busy Memorial weekend. So that leave me with either Sunday the 17th, or the 31st.

What does everyone else go going on.

We need to get up somewhere by Torr so he doesn't have to go as far. Maybe we should do a weekend at Whiskey Creek, we can play on the trails and maybe Help Mike and Jodi with a few things at the cabin?

May is pretty much booked solid for me.

First three weekends in June are open, but I'd like to take the first one off.....so I vote for the second weekend to do something.

Whiskey Creek would be a riot for sure.
I would be up for TC, haven't spent a weekend in traverse in a few summers, just sneaking in for food during the blessing weekend. But would need to start looking for campsites now though.....

I'm late June for weekends off. Either the 20th or the 27th.

If we can do a larger camping weekend toward the end of June it could incorporate the July GTG also.

Of course I would expect 20 or so people to be there.

If it ends up in June I won't be able to make it, but I might see some of you at Broncorama.

It's hard to do a GTG in the middle of the summer. Unless something big is going on. I appreciate you trying to get something setup up here by me, but I'm the only one up here. Doesn't make sense to have it here unless you like the idea of a festival GTG. We got them every weekend.

That's what the camping gtg was brought up. Could hang out, bring toys to trail ride. Or what ever. Sand dunes, maybe whiskey Creek again.....

I think an awesome GTG would be to tour the Rouge plant.

We did do that a few years ago. Pretty cool tour. We may need to do that again though...

I would like to do that again now that the trucks been redesigned.
What I did a few years ago when my brother visited was take him to the tour, hopped on the shuttle Henry Ford runs to the auto show, then stopped for steak and beer on way home.
Perhaps do something like that this winter.

That would be great for late fall winter for sure. We hit the Hooters in Taylor after.
