I like the idea of a weekly or bi weekly meetup, unfortunately I wouldnt be able to make that one all that often as things currently sit for me.

Yeah that is a good idea, but not feasible to go to unless you live down there..

what about just setting a twice a month meeting and varying the location? either restaurants or houses with grills.

We tried once a month, but not many show up Jim.

The problem is everyone is to spread out and people don't want to drive an hour and half or two just to have a beer and burger..

If a few who are local to each other want to do that its fine

thou im def game for organizing a breakfast down here at the local stuff your face diner. parking for our trucks can be a bit rough but you WILL NOT leave hungry, the owner garuntees it.
