I am looking for a good mechanic to work on my Father in Law's 1954 F-100. The truck is completely stock, but it has been sitting for a while. It was running when it was parked. Needs the usual stuff like brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tank cleaned, etc. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Nevada County, CA? The truck is located between Grass Valley and Auburn, Ca. I would prefer to have the truck towed to a shop, but a visit to the house would work too. Any suggestions?

 

I met Eric Guilloz, the owner of Eagle Automotive in Grass Valley, a couple weeks ago. He seemed like a really good guy, and had a '53 Ford pickup project underway in his shop. His father drove up while we were there in a '55 pickup. We talked about my project a bit. I think the guy knows his old Fords. The shop was clean, busy, and he struck me as a pretty straight shooter. Eagle Automotive is at 125 Spring Hill Drive in Grass Valley.
