Good Job Hunter. You might graph those out. You might end up making more in the future and selling them as a kit to help out other Bumpsters and prolly Dentsters too. It's a beautiful thing when we help a Brudda and make a little coin at the same time. When both parties are tickled pink I think that's a good business transaction.

2X with Jeff.
But think an ol redneck like Bubba. You know little Johnny pawpaw would just be happy with welding on one of his kids little red wagons handle.

Setup as one gear forward & reverse he'd be a happy man in mud bogs

Thanks for the complements guys!

I didn't get much done tonight, but I did get to test fit the boot. The boot on right came with the Hurst shifter, the boot on the left is for a Jeep CJ. It already had the flat on the mounting ring and it fits perfectly on the hump.

Looks Good Gavin...I'm with Gerry on the round boot, but only if you are going to use a round shaft. 3000 posts +1 internets for you!

My preference would be the square one, but, either one would look good!

3X on the round boot. Looks more factory. Does Jeep make a chrome retainer ring for it?

Freightrain - I watched a video of the VertiGate shifter, that thing is cool!

King Jeff - If I had to do it over again I would make it 1/2" lower, that would make it fit better in the boot and the hole in the floor could be smaller. I don't need a hold down ring it's molded into the base of the boot.

Gerry - only 121,167 till I catch up with you.

Andre - It will be round but I can't make the final shape of the shifter cane until I get the seat installed.

Pat - I'm kinda going for an older OEM look.

Randle - Thanks buddy, I need all the help I can get.

Thanks HnT! I only use the Metabo with the slicer wheels, the soft start is really nice.
