realistically i got the entire fuel system from supply line to heads open, and my high pressure oil system too.
lotta important passages to keep clean!

should have my fuel line Wednesday, hope to button this monster back up this weekend.
since im toying with the idea of a aftermarket exhaust, im thinking about cutting the muffler out of my stock exhaust to see how it sounds....

usually i am bad about taking pictures, as im up to my elbows in grease and grime and don't wanna stop wrenching.... but i snapped this picture just for you pop!
you can see the clamp on the drivers side fuel line going to the head.
my original line had no wear from the clamp....
and yes i just came in from working on the truck from 6pm to 2am....

Thank you Justin!
That answers a question that I've long had, and never poked around enough to answer for myself.
Hope you got to sleep in this morning, but that would mean you're not on a job, and THAT's not good, either!

i kinda slept in this morning, but was kinda sorta was late to the job.... boss was not there, i had my marching orders given the day before and no time was said to start.....oh well is what it is.
this weeks been stacked against me,
Monday i dug for a retaining wall at a friends house(still not done, i dug 25' out of 90')
Tuesday i started running conduit in a 100' x 300' horse arena to Properly power the lighting....all done on a extension ladder 20' up.
Wednesday was just plain hot as can be and driving a clapped out 1977 Chevy el camino with no AC or insulation while i repair my truck.... and then wrench on truck till 2am....lol
Thursday more horse arena still running conduit and pulling wire by my self....
and Friday is stacking up to be finish the horse arena and wrench on truck.... so yes im a bit exhausted

Happy MAY So Cal FTE and friends. Hope everyone has a great day, and even better weekend. Going to be in the lower 90's here today, so that tells me spring has made an early exit, and Summer is already here.

I seem to remember working almost that hard when I was your age, Justin. I couldn't keep up that pace today, however. Sixty-eight years take their toll.
