Very true and I have in the past but it is a little hard to sneak time to post on my phone compared to my computer. Steve, how is this for my current setup

I see they give you a 2nd monitor for FTE just like my employer does for me... It's increased my "productivity" exponentially!

good to see that. I'm an old PL/1 IMS programmer. Those were fun days. Did a ton of work in REXX, CList and SPF, too. Gawd, I'm dating myself for sure.

Yes they did, matter of fact I just got the one on the right on Friday. So now I have two 24" monitors.

Cool! I've done a little in PL/1. Our old stuff here is all COBOL. Still have some IMS but mostly all DB2 now. Have quite a few web applications that are pulling data from the mainframe now too.

I've tried escaping the mainframe world a couple times, but I keep getting sucked back in. There are not many folks under the age of 45 that know the technology. I guess it's job security.

We migrated our AS400 application to Access about 8 years ago.

I'm supposed to get a 21 inch as my second monitor in the next few weeks... that will be nice.
