1996 Bronc 5.8L - replacing Cat Converter

I am putting a 5.8L into the space where a 5.0L used to be. I'm pretty sure the exhaust Y pipe won't line up, plus, I want to buy a cat converter that's 3-way and doesn't require the air pipe. Summit Racing sells the magna flow 93324, but that seems to be for the 5.0L only. The cat converter seems to be "in the right place" for that model. They also list a magna flow 93312 for a 5.8L, but it looks to be for a F150 Lightning only, and the cat is much farther back on the pipe, near the rear of the transmission (that's all I need is some more transmission heat!). From what I've heard doesn't make a lot of sense. Isn't the F150 and the Bronco for that year identical in terms of engine cavity frame? I'm thinking of buying it anyhow, and if it doesn't fit exactly right, having the muffler shop bend it for me. Any ideas?

the F150 is similar. you may just have an exhaust shop give you a quote for custom built y pipe, you going to need the additional o2 sensor bungs welded on so the computer doesn't freak out.
