Today is the day........
A co-worker has a Ranger and loves it. Goes hunting with it, heads out with chainsaw and fuel in the morning, comes back with load after load of firewood later on. He also has a plow on the front, a trailer hitch on the back, and some auxiliary lighting. His has the dump bed, too. He even uses it to skid logs. Had a 570 and now has a 900.
It's really a jack of all trades Tyler. I could use it for clearing, firewood, running the perimeter trail, pulling around the chipper/splitter/ATV trailer, and recreation too. It's just narrow enough that it would work in Maine. (Well, 2.5" over their width limit but I could make it work.) It would fit nicely in the RV garage to boot.

Really? A SxS with HVAC? What next?
Seriously, check out a Deere 2R series Rodney. Jack of all trades. Maybe master of none, but I love mine! I don't have many trees to mow around, so it's a lawn mower for me too. Loader with brush hog on to having the MMM on and ready to cut grass in < 5 minutes. Attachments go on a pallet with casters so I can roll them around in the shed.

Are the windows and doors removable?
REally takes away the feel if not
I know Polaris offers doors with power windows as an option for the standard Ranger but not on the HVAC. You could swap them in for about three grand though...LOL. I think the windshield would constantly be dirty if trail riding and agree that the fully enclosed aspect would really limit the feel. However, if you were a rancher, I think it would be a great machine. No different than all the cabbed Kubota's coming standard with heat and AC. But, for working around the land, I'd rather it open to just hop in and out of quickly and easily. The only thing I'd probably do is a roof and winch to start...
