Today is the day........
So, Today is the Day I've given up on the SXS. I am a master at finding the perfect deal rather quickly but I've been skunked here for a week. While, for a normal person this would seem like the normal shopping process, this is about 6.5 days longer than it usually takes me. This leads me to believe it isn't meant to be. The final straw was figuring out this morning that Elyse is big enough to ride on the back of Maryann's Spyder if she wears a safety harness tethering the two of them together. That will allow her to come with us (the reason we were considering the SXS) now without dropping 15k+ on another machine and it's associated (required...) accessories/mods. I feel like I just saved 15k! Now Scott can't gloat when I sell it in a year in mint condition though...LOL...
Bring on MorRyde! This time tomorrow I'll be westbound and down...

Sweet machine.........although I found out this past week that the newer style (2015+) body and fender flare are MUCH more conducive to throwing mud all over the operator and passenger than the older style!!! But I am sure you will have a great time with it anyway!!!! I know I do!!!!
Now you need to spend about another 5-7 grand on lights, body armor, suspension upgrades, blah, blah, blah!!! They are a lot like owning a Jeep!! Just a hole in the driveway to dump money into!!!!

My wife limited my major expenditures on my Polaris Ranger 900 XP to something at Christmas. So far I have a glass windshield and back window. I bought an aftermarket heater but it doesn't fit right so it has been sitting in a box for a while. They can indeed be a money pit. The next "big" thing might be a windshield wiper.
I would be dangerous in a RZR. The Ranger keeps me from doing too many stupid things.

Evening folks. I'm back from camping with my brother-in-law and my nephews (ages 2 and 5). The 5 year old wasn't in camp more than 5 minutes and and he found the buttons for my electric tongue jack. I flew out of the trailer as soon as I felt it. If there was something they could get into those two little maniacs did just that. Fortunately, they didn't break anything.
Steve, welcome back to CO. That was me on the voice message. I wasn't sure if that was a home or cell number.

Rodney, So while you are spending money and killing time in the Elkhart area, consider driving over to Syracuse and Lake Wawasee. My old stomping ground. I lived there in the early seventy's (yes, that is the last century). I tended bar at night and weekends at the Kale Island Beacon and the Frog Tavern. It looks like both are still there.
Ready to rock and roll tomorrow. Got the Titan filled up with no leaking vents so far so I'm thinking that's done. Probably just jinxed myself... I added another shim to my rear StableLoads and am now a half inch or so higher in the rear wheel wells than the front wells. I'll stop there. I also was able to sell my fuel tank skid to an FTE member. Going to ship it from IN to WI to save some of the UPS bill so that's packed and ready to go. Now it's time to self medicate so I can sleep early. Hooked up and ready to move. 800 miles tomorrow..........
