I would do the same Randy but we can't use a SXS at any of the campgrounds we go to like you can a cart. So, the quads are our off road fun and the cart our campground fun. Just can't take both on the same trip unless I get a bigger hauler... Wait... What? LOL...

Just sold the ski over the phone. Buyer coming Monday....

Most of the campgrounds I checked with did not have a problem with the SxS being used for transportation as long as they were registered and driven at 10MPH or slower... But it's probably different everywhere you go..
Congrats on the sale... I hope you won't miss it too badly..

Gerry does the roof of that SxS look familiar?
It's the hood off of one of my old Corvette racecars... Just like the crossed flags.. They came off the gas cap cover on my '69 Vette..

Haha, there was something about that roof that kept me staring at it for a minute or so but I had no idea it was a vette hood. Now that you gave it away it's obvious....I bet it's nice to have a lift in your garage too. That's nice.

We can't even ride our ATV's from our site to the trail head on most of our places. Puritan uptight New England types don't let you get away with anything! And, that's up in Maine. In MA the nice campgrounds don't even allow carts or better yet, riding bicycles on a hill! I've got to move one of these days. South, West, or Southwest...

Wife was stationed at Fort Sam Houston and said the heat and humidity cured her of TX for life. Every Friday 6 mile run and all. She's still having flashbacks....

I almost had a golf cart. Wife intervened though. It would take up a bunch of space in the trailer, and it would have been gas which some places don't allow. And as you pointed out some places don't even allow carts at all. I've been contemplating bucking the system with a Honda ruckus or similar. Easy to pack up, and since it can be registered and tagged it's usable anywhere.........

We just have nowhere to ride atvs around my way. Randy can take his SxS on the road legally? I live in the wrong state!

Thanks for the reps / thought guys....

Rodney - my buddy who lives two doors down from me had his lifted and one of the spindles failed. Turned out that the spindles were hacked together and welded.
His new spindles are huge forged units. When he gets back in town I can get the info for you if you like...

Well, got home early today. Beat the rain and the ski is in it's new home already! Got pretty much what I paid for it minus some service fees and the sales tax I paid. Not bad for a one year rental... Ordered me up a shiny silver golf cart tonight after depositing the check in my account. I'm now officially old....

Randy, any pics are always appreciated...
