Whatever gets you there buddy! That would be too bad if Jeriann couldn't make it. She has one of my other favorite quotes from 2016 G2G. Before she knew that most of what comes from me is stupid, she was feeling bad about taking the bananas I offered for her recipe. I went in to a long diatribe about how I had spent hours in the grocery store agonizing over which bananas to select but for her, I'd part with them. She looked at me with understanding and total disgust all at once and said, "Alright Rodney, just shut up and give me the damn bananas!" LMAO!!!! I still chuckle about that...

Yeah now I see they're different tires. Any specific reason for these Nokian tires? I've never heard of this brand.

They are a top notch brand out of Finland. They make the best snow tires in the world but most folks overlook their summer and AT offerings. I have both summer and winter tires from them on my wife's SUV and have read excellent reviews on the AT tires I just put on my truck. So far, so good... albeit only 150 miles... LOL... Oh, and the pricing and treadwear are excellent too...

Only thing that worries me about Nokians are the availability if one were to get damaged... The place up here that has them is the only place and they are special ordered from Finland. Nokian is also the only company that I know of that preinstalls studs from the factory...

If I had a damaged tire, I'd just get a used slick take off until another Nokian came in. I got mine delivered in 2 days so no biggie. It would be an inconvenience but I've only lost one tire in the last 20 years so the odds are against the scenario... Knock on wood...lol

I do worry a bit too much Gerry...

But I have found that getting things in AK, isn't like getting things in the L48... It took the pharmacy 2 weeks to get a refill of meds several times. And these were not of the wall meds either. This has happened several times here, never in Florida. I get a little antsy when they are "almost sold out" and that's all we ordered /getting for the season type deals.

Gerry - I wasn't offended.... It's true...

Roy - They wear kilts now, so I don't know they are getting ready.

This is exactly what steered me away from Toyo when I put snow tires on my other two vehicles. The Toyo ice/snow tires did well on my Titan but local availability was really bad, especially for the snow tires. I ended up buying a spare ice/snow tire for my Titan but never mounted it. 6 years later guess what remains unmounted?

In other, more Ford related news, my F-350 went on its first ice fishing trip today. It was very windy and well below freezing when we got to the reservoir and things didn't improve much. It got a bit warmer but the wind got worse. Fortunately, I had a hut to hunker down in. No Trout were harmed in this adventure.

Rodney, I'm a little late to the party, but that new 6.7 looks fantastic!!! I'm sure you've explained why somewhere, but why didn't you get a long box?
