No French here. 90% of Canada speaks English too, especially in the tourist type areas, so no worries. Worst case scenario, I point at the menu and apologize.

We're all a little disappointed you can make Dells too Scott. Valid excuse or not...

Great news Doug!
With the extra money you weren't expecting from the house sale you can buy a modest fifth-wheel. I know a guy selling a small toy hauler, one of them Raptors I think.....

I've seen that Raptor somewhere. I do believe the toyhauler garage is small with a smallish side loading door. It's really only good for a Harley. Oh wait, Doug has a bike like that........

Hey, you guys are absolutely right! Instead of a house, I can buy a toy hauler, and park that on 20 acres. I'm sure my wife will love it and I won't have to worry about where to store the bike. I guess I should find out from Roy how sturdy the workbench and support legs are though.

I recall Roy selling his SRW to buy a DRW though, so Bear may not be the best choice for towing. I may need to get that 2017 F-450 Platinum.

Don't know that I can afford a house and toy hauler.

In all seriousness, my previous plans for buying a fifth wheel have changed to more likely be a large goose horse trailer with front quarters. Her toys all have 4 legs and eat hay.

Wouldn't be the first LQ horse trailer I've seen in a campground. Better yet get one with one extra stall more than you need for the 4 legged variety. Convert extra bay to hold horse of the iron variety. Win! Bloomer makes some nice LQ trailers...........Though it's probably 3x cheaper to buy Roy's Raptor!

Yup! That was my point. Don't need a truck or accommodations for horses and we sleep in the back. We would let the toys do the hauling.

There are some pretty expensive horse trailers out there, and I had thought about the ability to park a Hawg in it as well. Weight of a bike won't be a problem either, since the average full sized horse is heavier than my bagger.

Doug......you and Jodi can fly up and rent a cabin.......

I have seen many campgrounds that have camp sites for folks with horses.

I already have a cabin reserved for Gerry and myself. Jodi doesn't like seeing ME naked, so I'm pretty sure she won't appreciate seeing Gerry naked too! (Actually, part of that is a lie.)

Yes, there are lots of neat places to take horses on vacation, but you have to make sure and check state laws for transporting horses before you go. Most just require a coggins and a health certificate that is no more than 30 days old, but some require other stuff as well. Technically, just to transport them from her current place to our new place requires a current coggins. That's almost humorous too, considering that these horses are already together all the time now anyway, and they are going to their OWN place together. They can't get other horses sick, because they won't be around any other horses. Plus, you may have to load up the horses to take them to the vet to get the coggins, and that drive may very well be longer than the trip to take them to their new place.
