Overall this is too hot for me. I'm a pink person of Scottish decent meaning I get a sunburn during a full moon. This is fun but not interested in making it a regular thing. In other words, I'm more likely to buy land where I need the furnace every day than the AC's...

Last day today. Heading home tomorrow. Mother would like to go to the beach. For the above mentioned reasons, I'd rather not but I'll go early to make here happy. Then I'll throw the girls in the pool for the afternoon and do some final dreaming in the Class A section of the dealer. Back to reality in 24 hours...

The older I get the more I like the heat and dislike the snow. I'd be fine with temps between 65 & 85 all year long.

Thanks Monty. Going the western route so more scenery and less traffic... I HOPE...

Dave, I'm still trying to figure out why in the world I booked Myrtle beach for next August. The three of us are going to melt. (We look like three jars of mayonnaise sitting on the beach...) Buy stock in Coppertone now as it's going sell big time next year...LOL.

You're not alone Steve. We are the youngest ones in the campground and likely the state based on what I've seen this week... Yesterday over 90 and all my neighbors were lounging outside some with long pants on. One guy was even waxing his car. OMG...

I wear long pants all year round. Legs sunburn easy. now rest of me can be in sun all day long.
Florida in summer..ahh NO. Was there for Navy in Mayport in August 98. Hotter than hot. giant spiders...they eat birds. Was told to keep dogs on short leash as there is things in the brush which would kill them.
