Today is the day........
Thanks guys. Hope i like it too.... lol
Yeah. Wasn't supposed to start until after midnight......
For hauling the quad, hunting gear when I do my trips to Wisconsin.
The axles are earmarked for my open deck single car trailer (which is different from the one i picked them up with). Haven't broke it well enough yet to move it up on the project list.....
Michigan trailer plates are permanent. This one will cost me $75 for as long as I own it. Doesn't, however, make up for the raping we take on car insurance.

Well sense I have been home recovering from a knee replacement, my wife and I have been stimulating the economy also. We bought a green house that will be delivered sometime around the end of March. And now we are in the process of buying a new truck camper. https://www.hostcampers.com/product-...rainierlb.html
That's a nice floorplan Tim. We've often tossed around a TC and then we could tow our enclosed trailer along with it. The SB options are too limiting though and we'd likely be stuck without a slide and with a wet bath. Have you already ordered/bought the Rainier or are you in the research phase?

I've never seen a slide in with water tanks that big, that's what drove me to toy haulers. So many of those huge nice fifth wheel campers only have 40 or 50 gallons of fresh...

My first (and only) trailer is a toy hauler. I'm spoiled now with 120 gallons of fresh water.
In Georgia, you have to buy your tags in your birthday month. Well, we are screwed as most people split the cars/RVs/trucks/trailers up as their spouses have a different birthday month, not Jeriann and I. Hers is March 1st and mine's the 27th. We get stuck paying them all at one time. I have six trailers, not counting the toyhauler and Montana campers. She just likes to give me a hard time about it as in actuality, the trailer tags are only $14 each for a year, except the Montana and the Vortex. What I do like now about our ad valorem taxes here is that once you buy a car now, the owner pays the AV tax up front on the fair market value of the vehicle and only pays a $20 tag fee for that vehicle each year. If you keep that vehicle for years, it saves you money. For example, my Excursion is 18 years old now and the AV tax on it is still around $220/year. My '13 dually is $20 a year, well, plus $25 for a specialty tag if you want. Her old Odyssey that was totaled in October was still around $300/year, but her new one will be $20/year for as long as we own it. People misunderstand the part of paying the AVtax up front, but now it is rolled into the 7% sales tax for the state and you never see it again. NOW, just wish they would do away with the state income tax as they did at our neighbors in TN and FL.
