Our new Grand Design is scheduled to be here around Valentine's Day. Told my wife that was her present, now what do I get?

See Rodney, you're already stimulating the economy again! Cool SxS.

Eric, nice drawer. If I was planning to keep my RV for much longer, I would get at least one of those. That looks like it would help a lot.

Chad, we like pics of bathroom construction! How's Ms Jen doing these days?

Bionic Tim, looking forward to updates on the Bronco.

Dave, my wife keeps getting more stuff even faster than I do. I know at some point in the near future, we will have to find a new for all of our crap!

Tom, maybe for Valentine's Day she will let you enjoy her new RV with her! Looking forward to your initial and longer term impressions of the new rig. The RV show is coming up here in early Feb (and Monster Jam is right next door later in the same day, so we will make a day of it). I want to see what is out there since last year's show when we found something we really liked, but couldn't afford to do anything about at the time. GD was a top contender for us.

Have a great day all.

Yes when we moved. From the 3 generations on the farm and the house we had 48 yards go to the dump.

It will be a while before we stimulate the economy Doug. Been on a huge save since last fall when I bought the new outdoor equipment and saws. With our lives in flux, I can't stimulate the economy until I know which direction we are going. It was like quitting an addiction but now I can hold on with just the occasional meeting...LOL

I wasn't trying to suggest you were stimulating the economy by spending, but rather by offering the rest of us some guidance on what to spend our money on! Lol I totally understand not accumulating more "stuff" when trying to figure out a build and move.

Dave, 48 yards is a lot of crap to haul off. In the last 8 years, I have moved 3 times, and each time, I have gone through all of my stuff and either donated or thrown out a good portion of the things that didn't see routine use. It amazes me how quickly we accumulate junk, but when I really pay attention, I notice more things coming into our home, than leaving it. I love Amazon, and my wife loves the Goodwill store. When we "retire" (hopefully in a few years), our plan is to downsize on our already relatively small home, when in reality, we have enough crap to fill one twice the size of our current home.

Considering we had been at the same place for 80 years for all the generations. It only figure out to a little more than 1/2 yard per year

Here's a few pics Doug. I haven't posted anything yet since this is a spare time project, and spare time isn't a problem i have, but it's coming along. Should start painting next month.
