Today is the day........
The Prestige is pretty much the top of the line. The only one that is higher is the Legacy XL but that is more of a 100% garden tractor and less setup for mowing. Seeing one in person yesterday made me realize how much more solid it is than the equivalent Deere X5 series. The fabricated deck is a tank. The metal hood and fenders feel like my old man's DeSoto. The mesh seat is super comfortable and won't crack and fail like the vinyl JD. The 4 corner suspension like Ferris is a nice addition too. The push button start and nice dash package are not necessary but certainly look cool. Heck, the thing even has LED headlights....LOL. The Prestige is a step above the Broadmoor and Conquest with power steering, hydraulic deck lift, and the EFI version of the Briggs engine. It also has the beefier K72 high speed transmission. My wife has always wanted a garden so this would be a good machine to run a tiller too.
Interesting take on the blowers. I currently have an Ariens that my dad bought right before he died. I sold my mint Bolens when I got it and I think I downgraded going to the new shiny paint. If ever it goes, I'll have to look at Simplicity. I really don't blow much though with my plow doing 99% of my clearing. Just a couple sidewalks and around the RV and sled trailer. I'll have even less at the new place due to the layout. So, the Ariens will likely last me forever....

I'm back and fourth between the triple bagger and the cart. My guy is giving me a smoking deal on the tractor (about 22% off) and there is a $750 veterans rebate that Maryann qualifies for. There is 36 month 0% too...

Thanks Tim. I bought it basically for the transmission, which I am enjoying. My conclusion is that this is a good truck; has a few advantages over the Ford, but plenty of disadvantages too. Overall, I feel the Ford is the better truck.
My thoughts exactly on the 0% Tyler. Got a call in to see what my total would be with the collection system. Will see where it goes. I was able to sell my two Husky 257 saws and my Redmax trimmer and blower in the past couple weeks. Hopefully someone wants an X324 off season too. They never come up on CL so I'm betting someone will jump on it. If not, it will go in the spring for sure. If it wasn't spitting outside right now I'd head out, clean it up, and take some pics. This weather SUCKS. If we don't get a little bit of a warm up to melt the snow we have, my stumping of the lot will likely have to wait until the spring...

This is how I got my blower and saved a pretty penny over the local dealers who don't care about homeowners.

That looks really nice. The suspension is a very nice feature. The deal looks very tempting. I'd take the 0% for 3 years option too...why use your own money when you can borrow someone else's at zero percent?

Not that great. If I drive it like a super old man, it is OK. 17mpg at 70mph. Driving normally it's more like 15mpg. City driving seems to be around 12-13. 55mph roadway I was able to pull 19mpg driving it old-man style which is pretty decent for a dually.
In fairness, it only has 600 miles on it so far, and we are getting winter-blend fuel which drops mpg a bit. Just dropped $456 on Gatorback mud flaps and brackets front and rear with the nice stainless logo weights. (Truck came with none). Also spent $44 on a Gentex auto-dimming rearview mirror (cannot stand flip day/night mirrors). Trying to get the Mopar rubber all weather mats...but they are backordered pretty good. The dealers are pushing Weathertech but they want $220 for a set when the Mopar ones look just as good and cost $130.
You can shift between high and low range while in gear just by pushing the clutch...kind of cool. The "anti-spin" rear end seems to work pretty good. Traction control reacts later than it does in the Ford.

I'll look...also trying to find a new, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls to grab that 15% off with. On the RAMs, the audio controls are on the back of the wheel (weird). My truck has the voice command buttons on the front but no audio...and being a tradesman, it has a plastic steering wheel (no different than my XLT Premium Ford).
I'm used to the rear facing audio controls. The wife's current GC has them as did her 12 Durango and 08 GC. On the eBay thing, you can use the coupon on multiple items up to the $100 max coupon value. They just all have to be in one shopping cart and checked out at once. Some coupons are app exclusive which means you can add them to your cart on your computer but you must check out and enter the code on phone app. I believe this is one of the phone app variants. No big deal, just wanted to clarify so you don't get jammed up at checkout.

If the seller doesn't have it set up to provide a discount for multiple items, then yes, it will charge you double for shipping.

my 2007 dually got about 17 highway when it was stock modified was about the same. Problem was it had the lower geared 6th gear g56 before they changed it in late 2007. I was doing about 2200 rpm at 70 mph with a 3.73 rear. What does yours turn?
my deleted 12’ 2500 with 68rfe got consistent 19.5-21 hand figured with stock tires and 3.73
the limited slip in the aam 11.5 are good, its a geared limited slip with no clutches. Mine always wirked great
