My trailer was winterized when I bought it this summer but I checked it anyway and added some pink to the traps and blk tank. My last trailer I just used to blow the lines out and then do the traps. This one was done by pumping pink thru the lines. I looked in at the pump and there's a hose connected that you stick into a pink bottle.

Will the blk tank flush line hold water or does it drain out into the tank?

For the line blow I just use a standard trigger blow nozzle and wrap it with elec tape until it seals into the city water connection when I hold it there. Seemed to work the past 5 years.
I stopped at Lowe's and grabbed fittings to make this. You can make one up with fewer pieces, but due to my chronic procrastination, they were out of the direct adaptor and I didn't have time to order a nice one like Rodney's.

Well, mine was with a schrader valve. Your setup is with a quick connect more like this one. Amazon has them for about $7 if anyone is looking....

The Camco one Rodney posted above is the one I have. All great except the quick connects I use don't fit. Since I was going to Ace anyway I picked up the part to make my black tank AF pump. Had the pump, just needed a few little fittings and stuff.

The wiring was just a quick make it work, don't judge. Dump trailer had the closest battery. My outside shower is on the L/F of the trailer so that was out.

Yep, should be easier the second time around! We've started to dive into making plans for our trip. Wife still freaking out as she's never been in a car more then about 5.5 hours.

You're a bit closer to leaving..................Got a plan or just going to see where the wind takes you once you get there?

Well, since the wife will be on the mend, we need to be kind of conservative. I'll take our daughter to Busch Gardens and the beach. Everything else will be a play it by ear type thing. We're in FL when it's in the 30's at home. No matter what we do should be an upgrade!

5 to 10 psi. Don't go over 40 psi as you could blow some connections.

That's the one I have.. I only use 20 PSI myself and it works fine. I also blow out all my white hoses and then connect the male to the female to keep things somewhat sanitary.

Hey Rodney, give a shout when you're south of NC on your way to FL. I'll keep an eye open for ya.

How come? I think PEX is rated to over 100 PSI and campground pressure is usually 30-40.

That's what I thought. Was just coming back to make the same comment when I saw yours. I blow my lines out with 40-50psi.

LOL. My brother is headed to FL in his motorhome next week I think. We're here until end of the year but then headed to AZ and other points in the SW for 3 months.

Still have some tasks to do before then. Would like to add 2 6v batteries, a better battery usage monitor than the 4 leds and I need to pick up a small genny.
