You know if you come down this way enough, you actually do get used to the heat and humidity Rodney.

Okay, not really...

Good morning Rodney! Mid 90's for the last week down here and a weak tropical storm for this weekend. We'll be right on the Gulf at Grand Isle entertaining the wifes sister and husband coming down from Maryland. Heat and humidity cranking up down here!

Not hard to get fresh shrimp this time of year.

Barataria Pass at Grand Isle where pirate ships hung out over 200 years ago.

I'm with Rodney...65F is a perfect high temp for me as well. I deal with the hot weather since I have to work outside in it quite a bit...but I'll be sweating!

I don't like the heat and humidity here, and ocean front is humid.

But I hated MN winters more. I get about 9 months of mostly good weather and 3 of too hot. Better than the opposite I got in MN.

I grew up in northern Minnesota...Hibbing area. I absolutely loved it. I wouldn't trade winter for more summer, that's for sure. Besides...you can't do this in the South...

Give me 85 and sunny every day of the week and I'll be happy! 65 would be a perfect night time temperature...

He also helped me create my $3 spring compressor out of a piece of threaded rod, large socket, washer, and nut. Well, he was right. Now I don't have to worry about the square pucks ruining my clutch in 500 miles and I got smoother engagement/disengagement to boot. Best $29 I've spent in a long time.

Thanks for the heads up, Rodney. I dug in my pocket and found the round tuit and ordered the rollers this morning!

That's what I was gonna say. Troverman, I snowmobiled too. But lately it was futile. Snow was worthless, trails never opened. I enjoyed it, but mostly it was to pass the time. I'd rather camp, and enjoy the outdoors. Drive with the top down, and enjoy the beach.
