Rodney, how'd the XLR make it through the winter and your trip?

So far so good.... mostly... My converter is putting out less voltage than normal. Half way though the trip it dropped to 13.1v from it's normal 13.6. Will do some digging when I get home. Some converters have a temp sensor and drop the output during warmer weather. It's not warm here though. So either the sensor is bad or I have a different issue with it. I'll likely change it when I get to XLR next month if I can't find the problem before then.

you didn't tell them what I told you??? I'm still pissed you started this thread! So arrogant! Who would want to read this stuff and get ideas, learn stuff and collaborate with other like minded individuals? What the heck Rodney? I'm still blown away you did this!

I thought this thread was started to sell parts and accessories. It has worked for that, regardless.

Just home and unpacked. The campground decided to close the dump station with no warning yesterday. As grateful as I am to have my macerator pump setup so I can dump at home, I'm looking forward to putting a proper sewer line up to my RV parking pad at the new house... Leaks are no fun...

Sucks that they shut down the dump station on you. Since I have never really done the RV'ing thing except two recent trips to Jelllystone near my house, I have never had to deal with a dump station. Jellystone has the sewer connection at the site, as did the trailer park where I lived right after I bought the RV. The convenience of having it right at the site - or at your house - is nice.

We were at a state park Doug. (Most only have a dump station and no on site sewer.) With direct beach access, we make sacrifices...

I once read the "1 page" thread described as a bunch of guys saying good morning to each other. I still laugh about that partially accurate description.

Rodney, luckily, there is a Camping World, with a dump station, about 6miles from my house. However, I still want to put a small septic tank next to my camper pole shed.

Yep, being able to empty the tanks at home is so nice. Today was a surprise but often it's great to just blow past a dump station with a line and know you have no wait at home....

I'm loaded up and ready to roll tomorrow for camping/fishing in Wyoming. The ATV is out of the trailer and in the house garage since there isn't anywhere I can legally ride it at the campground. Wyoming licenses ATV's for on-road use, but since I live in Colorado I can't do that. I don't see a reason to drag 1,500 lbs of equipment along that isn't going to be used. Besides, one of the drunks I fish with would likely try to take it for a spin and put it in the reservoir. I'm the designated driver most of the time. Herding drunks, it's what I do.

The storage lot I use has a dump station with non-potable water. It's handy. Sometimes a little too handy since it's only 150' away from my storage spot. Why don't people put the lid back on the sewer pipe?

Brown truck dropped this off yesterday.

I'm hoping to get more use out of my big awning. The slide topper keeps me from getting much downward angle to it, so i don't get much shade, and it pools water. I'll get some pics tomorrow of it installed hopefully.

You'll need it in Mammoth Chad! Going to be a scorcher...

Thinking of ordering something myself. Monty, Doug, and I have been going round and round about putting Monty and my truck on a weight loss program. Doug has already gone on this diet and is very pleased with the results....
