Today is the day........
So far so good.... mostly... My converter is putting out less voltage than normal. Half way though the trip it dropped to 13.1v from it's normal 13.6. Will do some digging when I get home. Some converters have a temp sensor and drop the output during warmer weather. It's not warm here though. So either the sensor is bad or I have a different issue with it. I'll likely change it when I get to XLR next month if I can't find the problem before then.
I had no idea Bruce! The day I started it, I actually PM'd Andre and asked if he thought it was a good idea. (I figured he'd be the one to know with his thread being the big dog.) I remember asking him if he thought it was arrogant to assume that anyone would be interested in my new RV purchase and if it was worthy of it's own thread. I still wonder that from time to time when I post my mods etc. but people respond and round and round we go... No content pressure though. I'd be blowing my money whether this thread was going or not. Now I just have to remember to stop and take progress pictures...
LOL
Just home and unpacked. The campground decided to close the dump station with no warning yesterday. As grateful as I am to have my macerator pump setup so I can dump at home, I'm looking forward to putting a proper sewer line up to my RV parking pad at the new house... Leaks are no fun...
Sucks that they shut down the dump station on you. Since I have never really done the RV'ing thing except two recent trips to Jelllystone near my house, I have never had to deal with a dump station. Jellystone has the sewer connection at the site, as did the trailer park where I lived right after I bought the RV. The convenience of having it right at the site - or at your house - is nice.

I'm loaded up and ready to roll tomorrow for camping/fishing in Wyoming. The ATV is out of the trailer and in the house garage since there isn't anywhere I can legally ride it at the campground. Wyoming licenses ATV's for on-road use, but since I live in Colorado I can't do that. I don't see a reason to drag 1,500 lbs of equipment along that isn't going to be used. Besides, one of the drunks I fish with would likely try to take it for a spin and put it in the reservoir. I'm the designated driver most of the time. Herding drunks, it's what I do.
The storage lot I use has a dump station with non-potable water. It's handy. Sometimes a little too handy since it's only 150' away from my storage spot. Why don't people put the lid back on the sewer pipe?

Brown truck dropped this off yesterday.

I'm hoping to get more use out of my big awning. The slide topper keeps me from getting much downward angle to it, so i don't get much shade, and it pools water. I'll get some pics tomorrow of it installed hopefully.
