I have been torquing all of my lug nuts to 120ftlbs since forever,,, like when I got a torque wrench,,, not sure if correct, but never had one strip, and never had any come off, and is able to be taken off with a 4-way, or a 1/2 ratchet and socket I keep for my ones with aftermarket rims.

The 1976 Ford truck shop manual shows, for the F-350, with the 9/16"-18 size: 135 ft-lb. for the front, and for the dual rear wheels (also 9/16"-18) 210 ft-lb.

1 1/16 nuts on the 1 ton 1974 Ford F350. The rear drivers side wheel nuts are reverse and you have to break them down to the rear of the truck. The other side is normal thread as is the front on my truck. I torque them down until i "feel" them tight to my liking and that is better than having a reading showing them right when they might be wrong. Get you a good bar and spin them on and feel it out. Better tight than loose i say.
My problem is my brake cables. I have had so many different know it alls including books and people that manufacture brake cables to get something wrong on their specifications. I need to know what Ford said the housing length and cable length on front and rear cables for the 137 inch wheel base 1974 Ford 350 has. I cannot find out any true dimensions from Ford. Dose anyone know what those dimensions are so that i don't end up killing someone telling me to put these on or those on as they are correct when they really don't know? I do know if the housing is not right it can cause the cable to not be long or be too short to hook into the equalizer. It has to be right. Any help would be so so helpful from any Ford man. I love Fords and will always but sometimes i need some help.

The Ford parts catalog shows 73-75 F350 (regular cab) with a 136" wheelbase and the Supercab with a 138" wheelbase, it doesn't list a 137" wheelbase.
For the 136" wheelbase it shows the cable length as 75 21/64" long, both sides use the same cable p/n C9TZ-2A635-A
The 138" wheelbase Supercab uses different cables for right and left.
RH 56 3/4" long p/n D4TZ-2A635-C, the LH side is 66 1/4" long and is p/n D4TZ-2A635-B.
On the front cable, for the regular cab, for trucks before s/n T40,001 it's 89 5/16" long and p/n D3TZ-2853-C and from s/n T40,001 it's 89 1/4" long and p/n D4TZ-2853-G
For the Supercab it shows 111 13/16" and is p/n D4TZ-2853-C

I agree, and i am not knowledgeable to understand why Ford does not list that 137 inch data. I think it might be a very rare truck? I have looked everywhere and was told many times it does not matter about a 136 or 137 as they are the same. Who is telling the truth? Does Ford even know what they made? I give up.

The 1975 Ford Truck Operator's Manual (pages 129-130) and the 1976 Ford Truck Owner's Manual (pages 138-139) both show an F-350 with a 137" wheelbase. Both show it as a chassis cab with single or dual rear wheels. I don't have the 1974 manual.
When I have a parts ID problem I usually bring the "old" parts with me to the vendor and let them worry about finding the correct items. (Something like shopping for U-joints)

I think that's part of his problem, the literature (sales brochures and owner's manuals show F350's with 137" and 161" wheelbase. However, the parts catalog shows 136" and 160" wheelbase. I think that's where the confusion is coming from. The parts book and the manuals disagree by 1".
My guess is that the 136" and 137" are the same truck. Back in the day Ford was known to screw up the specs.
