Pics of ATTA 45RBR, Hutch, Harpoon done!

Great pics, great parts list, nice tank. 26 gallon tank makes no sense on these trucks.
If I had $ to burn I'd be all over this tank, as my bed space is sacred:
Long bed can accommodate 67 gallon tank I think.
2 questions.
How many miles on your truck when u did the hutch & harpoon mod? Those OEM filters look nasty.
Did you clean out the tank while you had it down?

I had roughly 230K miles on the truck when I performed the mods. The tank did not need cleaning other than removing the pieces of the pickup foot. I was prepared to rinse and clean the tank though if need be.
This past summer the auxiliary tank really shined when we towed our camper from GA to Seattle and back. We had 75 gallons of fuel on board and stopped to fill up when we wanted instead of when we had to. Even just this morning rolling down the highway I filled my OEM tank from 1/4 to 3/4 in a few minutes going 65 MPH. I bought a tank for the bed because I can swap the tank to another truck when/if the time comes to do that.

This mod is well worth the effort. Let us know how it goes!

floor jack, 2x6 and helper if you can get one.. its a bear to steady the tank and work jack laying on your belly so to speak.
have fun and will be nice to fill up and have the handle click off and you can only get like a coffee cup more fuel in before it runs out the filler hole and you don't see the needle come off full for some 150 miles or so..

I did notice it took 3-5 starts after priming the Racor to get the bubbles to settle down and disappear. Im happy to report after my trip to the fuel station and back, I have no bubbles
