Motor wiring harness question... Conaski??

I have a wiring harness question for my ford truck guys. Case Study: I have a 93 F350 cab chassis with a 351W and a ZF5 trans. To make a long story short, it sat for a long time and something (mouse?) ate up some of the motor harness wiring, so I just removed the whole harness from the fuse panel plug.

Now I know my truck a 351 Speed Density setup, Do I have to get another motor harness out of a 351 or can I get one out of a 302? Are all Speed Density trucks batch fire, 302 and 351? I was under the assumption that if I got another batch fire speed density harness it would work, no matter which size it was?

Someone please educate me correctly! Thankyou

302 was SD until around '93. '94 and up are MAF. As long as you get the harness from a SD 302 or SD 351, you should be ok.

Hopefully Conanski will chime in soon.

Best bet is to find a similar year/engine/transmission truck as a donor. Not all year harnesses have the same pin-outs from what I understand.

My EVTM from Ford references wire colors and circuit numbers when it comes to the C101 connector. No pin-outs anywhere.

All Speed Density trucks use batch fire for the injectors.

Yes 302 or 351 harness will work but get one from a '93 or '94 to minimize the possibility of differences with the connectors and wiring pinouts. A '94 truck won't be MAF unless it was from Cali and most HD truck were SD until the end of '97 so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
