Frame Swap for '62 Unibody

Alright time to get going on my 62 shortbox. I have a 2001 crown Vic Pi and I know that it's not the most desirable year but I'm gonna make it work so if you're gonna try to suggest getting a different CV please don't post. I found a shop that will do it and they told me to prep it so try can get it out as fast as possible. I'm basically going to remove the body and keep the steering cold from the crown Vic. What else do I need to do? Any tips on this swap?

I know and I'm sorry. I'm just tired of being referred to here and there and to use the search forum. I know how to use the search forum I wouldn't be posting otherwise.

I have a 97, and have only briefly measured it for a weld on clip swap. Which seems like it would work fine at this point. Or you could cut and lengthen the frame as need while bringing in the outer frame rails.

There is a guy on this forum who dropped a uni body truck over the frame like you want, but required cutting sheet metal. All in all it did not seem 1/2 as hard as I would of imagened.

Myself I would cut the front, and back off. Then have them spliced into some 4x2 box tubing to make up the rest of the needed parts.
