1994 F150 keyless remote questions
Good morning all,
I have a couple of questions about my keyless entry system on my truck.
- Where, exactly is the connector that I need to jump in order to program the remote?
- Where is the remote receiver located in case that is bad?
I replaced the battery in my remote and that did not help so I think it is either that this remote never worked with this truck and needs to be programmed or the receiver is bad?
If the receiver module is bad – where is a good place to get this and it is something that is easy to replace – no re-programming necessary?
My truck is an XLT so my ASSumption is that the truck came with keyless entry and that when I bought the truck the owner handed me keys with a remote???
Thanks everyone and have a great day!

remote access was not a popular accessory back then. it may be dealer installed, or aftermarket.
factory installed remotes are programmed by cycling the key on/off 4 or 8 times ending in the key on position, and the door will lock when it enters program mode. then you push a button on the remote you want to program. if it takes, the door will lock/unlock.
