Doggone paypal,,, was trying to get a deposit to the guy to hold it till Sat. morning, put money in bank, requested funds to paypal,,, NOW I find out it takes 2-5 business days,,, and I should have just put $$ in bank and sent deposit. Hopefully he still has it Friday evening when I call before I get up early and head down. But I did find a back-up one!!

I'd pursue the backup first.

The green one is nice, but looks like it was owned by a slob. 1 owner is kinda nice, but still.

I thought so too, however, he said he hasn't driven it much in last few years,,, been taking care of grandkids,,, no time for it, which would explain dust, seats are easily fixed, and the carpet will be coming out eventually to be replaced by rhino-line or something similar. I am partial to the green/tan combo.

Everything shows dirt where I live gravel driveway does that! The wife's Lexi is nice and clean after the oil change, all the way up the hill, then she hits the driveway doing 80 and it's all over.

Dun tried!! I've even explained the whole process of going slow = less dust,,, on everything,,, to no avail. Then she wonders why she has to dust the house every other day

I just don't like monotone Broncos If you're really lucky the two tone owner has service records I'd at least check it out before committing to the white one.

If I need to get somewhere in a hurry,,, I DRIVE! I enjoy life in the slow lane in my old trucks, but I do enjoy a good run up the speedo! However in my past life as a stupid Jarhead, I managed to rack up enough points to lose my driving privileges in North Cack-a-lacki, having a fast truck and a Honda V65 Magna
When I was getting my Commercial license here in Kalifornia, I had to call NC and pay a re-in-statement fee of $40 so Kali would give me my Commercial Lic. Then I got a few coupons here, and decided it was time to sloooowww down!

And I will try and get both VIN's in the A.M. and take you up on that! Thanks!

Some people are just huge D-bags!!
AArrrgghhh!!!!

Been talking to the guy, told him from the get go, I am coming down saturday, talked to him TODAY at 1030, told him trailer is hooked to my truck, and I am leaving at 0700 in the morning.

Got home, replaced light on trailer, all is good, called him up just to touch base one more time, said I am on the road at 0700, he says, "oh,,, a guy showed up and had cash and my wife sold it" I said REALLY, realy,,, WTF?!? And just hung up on him! WTF is wrong with some people?! I have bought, AND sold a lot of truck, tires, parts and what-not, and if someone says, "hey, I want that, I am coming to get it, if someone else asks about it, I say it is sold, OR, I will call the first person back and a least see where they are with things, and if they say YES, I still want it, then I HONOR that.
Just a little pissed and needed to vent! Does this happen to others, or is this just a Kalifornia D-bag problem?!
I mean I grew up in Missouri, and your word was your word. Some people,,, you just wanna smack'em!

So after the disappointing dealings with the dork-bag, I am still on the Bronco search,,, any input as to best years, what to look out for, what's desirable, I prefer the 5.8 or the 4.9 I6, would love a manual trans.
