I think Im selling my 64
Im mulling over my options.
We are getting ready to retire and thinking about moving from Georgia to Colorado, Nevada, or Arizona.
I need to thin the herd: 2 Harleys, 2 F100s, 2 Mustangs, 1 Dodge.
The 64 is losing its fun factor. Its to nice to use as a truck and to nice to cut up and modify. Out West You better like where you live, its a long way to anywhere else and the 64 isn't a good interstate truck. If I sell, it will be on local on CL. I hate long distance car selling.
Nothing is in stone yet. I have wanted to move back to Tucson for years, but now there are a couple grandkids so its a tough decision.

Are you nuts?????? Drop it off in Montana and I will store it for you. Course you will need to leave the keys for it. That one would look great sitting beside mine at shows. I have a Harley and it would go long before my 64 would go. Harley's are a dime a dozen. 64's are becoming rarer and rarer. My grandson loves to ride in the 64 and wants me to let him drive it when he gets his license.

I am going to put the other Mustang on CL today. Its not near as nice as the one I just sold, but by mid-66 Ford sold over a million of them, they are still pretty easy to find.
I want to sell the Harleys, its just getting to risky to ride any more for us. Yesterday some idiot came around a curve at Im guessing 75+ mph in a 45, he crossed the centerline and nearly hit us. I was leading and moved to the right of the lane as we came up on the curve, had I stayed to the left he would have hit me and maybe my wife who was about 50 feet behind me.

Sold my bike a while back too. Didn't drive it enough to justify it taking up the space, not to mention annual registration and insurance. Driving became too much of an adventure. Car accidents are one thing, but I don't bounce as good as I used to. In a more rural setting things might still be OK.
