Hey everyone. I've posted a few threads about my recent troubles any many of u have been a great help...
Y'all posted several things to add to both oil and fuel. BUT no one mention the Lucas fuel additive. I've added it to my fuel for the last several yrs. but may/will switch to the HSS.
Once again I'm just thinking out loud once again.
Thanks Guys
There are several threads showing an independent study and it included a bunch of products. Take a look and see where Lucas shows on that list, maybe answer why it wasn't mentioned. Almost every thread has a link to that study, on my phone or I'd link it for you. You'll see that some of them are worse then nothing at all.
You could also Google "diesel fuel additive wear testing" and get hundreds of results. Most are from a few years ago but give you an idea of how an additive is tested from a lubricity standpoint.
I don't know why but Lucas just doesn't sell real well around here and they are always running cheap sales on the stuff. Maybe just trying to unload what they allready have.
