Ford Econoline 4X4 questions !!!
#31
in the 80`s I had an E-250 4x4 ....
it had a rigid front diff with leafs springs : simple , sturdy but harsh ride
I`m also doing a van 4x4 conversion with an 88 and considering twin tract beam for the better ride ....
I dont intend to do any exterme off roading ,just added traction and slight articulation ...
coil springs are better then leaves for the ride
I may end up with leaves ,if no better choice , without spending half my wallet !
someone else here says that a F-250 twin tract beam could be the same width then a E-250 twin axle beam ....
