Tomorrow, the front frame and suspension will be sold to a guy, and the wheels an tires to another guy. So that means I'm just that much closer to mounting the 4.6 in the 73

I thought you were going to do a body swap there for a second, lol. Nice progress! I really like the looks of the patina on your 73' and that 55/56' chevy.

Don't sell the crown vic yet! You mentioned you wanted to lower it. Swapping in the crown vic front suspension on these trucks is very popular. It lowers the truck, and it will handle better. Do a quick search, and a few build threads should pop up. I think there is even one with a 4.6 swap.

I do still plan on a CV suspension swap bronco, but on this peticular CV, the front suspension/k member isnt removable and is built into the frame as i had originally thought (i guess that came in the later years?)

I would rather find the bolt on subframe rather than work to try and "graft" these 2 frames together... So i got a guy willing to buy the front frame section for $100, that money can go towards a couple other builds i have cooking

That does beg a question tho... The F100 has a leaf sprung 9" in back with 3.25 gears, and the vic has an 8.8 (unknown gear) with coil suspension...

Now obviously i would rather have the coil suspension in back and most likely will end up doing that... But what axle do i use, the 9" or the 8.8?
