charging problem
I have a 97 F350 that i pulled the 460 from when it wore out. I swapped in a 7.3 IDI from a 93. This included all the wiring harnesses, fuel lines, fuel lifters etc. Now the truck wont charge. Brand new alternator that was tested before installing. The little "jumper" wire on the alternator will show 1-2 volts or zero when it's supposed to be at least 6 (ohms test on this wire was good). The yellow wire is 12.74 and the green was 11.7.
I traced all the wiring back to the cab and can't find where i may have put something wrong. Any ideas on where to go?
