Save your money for something that you will appreciate. Ford had done an excellent job in the design of current air intake systems that are installed on current vehicles. Yes, you do have to pay for replacement filters, but it is an easy installation swap. No messing with having to clean, dry and oil the filters such as required to do so on the CAI kits. This also means that you don't have to invest in the filter maintenance kit of cleaner and oil.
Granted the added under the hood noise does sound like more power and speed. Even your butt will register it as such. But the only added truth to the power of sucking is the action it had on your wallet becoming lighter.

If you want one for looks, go for it. I have used K&N products since 1992 and never had a problem. 1992, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2005, 2006 & 2010. Some have resulted in more performance gains than others, depending on the amount of restriction in the stock system. All worked better with a tuner. i have a drop in K&N in my 6.2 and based on the sound with the engine under load, I would have to agree that it's a pretty good system as is.
Yes ford does make a CAI, but only for the mustang.

Found it on the Roush website. You must have a dealer that sells Roush parts. That filter is not available from Ford performance.

Just FYI....lwhen I bought my 6.2, it had an Airaid CAI on it, along with a Banks exhaust system. Just motoring around, it sounded great! Then I bought my Raptor toy hauler, hooked up and headed out on a road trip... 3000 miles. The noise level inside the cabin got overbearing....I couldnt wait till I got home so I could switch everything back to stock! And when I did, my gas mileage actually improved! By about 1.5 MPG!
Just my .02 worth, if you are considering pulling, you may want to re-think!
