Driveshaft Tranny Swap Question

I picked up a '94 F-150 RCLB with an 4.9L/E4OD with plans to turn it into a new daily driver but it has some issues.

Got it cheap because the lady lost all forward gears and it puked out tranny fluid in front of her driveway. I'm thinking of swapping in a MAF equipped 302/AOD-E from a SCSB parts truck that I have but I'm worried about the original driveshaft working for the swap. Anyone done a E4OD to AOD-E swap and was still able to use the E4OD driveshaft?

I've never done this swap, but I'm pretty sure that an E4OD is longer than an AODE, which means the driveshaft will be too short. A driveshaft shop can lengthen a driveshaft for not much money.

I figured that was the case. Shops around here charge a fair bit more to lengthen then shorten. I have a 2wd parts truck with an E4OD which would have a longer shaft, could use that I suppose.
