c6 rebuild, need help finding parts

Rebuilding my c6 and I need a thicker snap ring for the forward clutch to tighten up some slack, theanual says ford offers different thickness to compensate but for the life of me I can not find them anywhere! If anybody knows where I can find the dang things please let me know, thanks in advance.... Also on the forward clutch, there is a wavy disc, I've been researching and people say you can remove it to add 5 friction discs.. Is that true? And just so I have it straight would it go spring/steel disc/FD/SD/FD/SD/FD/SD/FD/SD/FD/then the thicker steel disc then the snap ring? I mean its the only way it can go and still work but I just wanna make sure before I go back together with it, thanks!

Can't particularly help with the tech question, it's been a long time since I tore into a C6 and I don't want to rely on memory but as for the snap rings:
Ford kinda lumps them in together, in the catalog it shows two different diameters but doesn't specify which is for the forward clutch and which is for the direct clutch, it just shows the diameter.
6 21/32" diameter .058" thick 377437-S, .076" thick 377127-S, .090" thick 377128-S

7 7/64" diameter .058" thick 377437-S, .090" 377444-S

Dennis Carpenter, Concord, NC has all of them (704) 786-8139
Green Sales, Cincinnati, OH has several hundred of them (800) 543-4959

When I did mine, I just stopped by a tranny shop. They dug around for a while and came up with a used one of the right width. Or maybe just call someone like these guys. Oregon Performance Transmission - Rebuild Parts for 700R4 4L60E 4L80E E4OD 4R100 47RE 48RE & More

I'm pretty certain that the snap ring for the forward and direct clutches are the same as far as diameter.. If I could figure out how to post a picture of the different sizes I would but the size I need is 0.110 - 0.114 and 0.128-0.132 inches, I want both just in case my measurements are off, I have found a few of the stock sizes but not the ones I need, I'll give those guys a call tho and see what I can find out, thanks!

I just did the math on that and that is cutting it pretty close to not being enough, the max tolerance is 0.046, I have somewhere around 0.065 slack, with the thicker plate it brings it to 0.048, my measurements could be off with the 0.065 and it'll probably work but its cutting it close, but its not like I'll be taking a loss with the price of it haha, thanks a lot I'll get this ordered and give it a try!

Considering that the part numbers came from 3 pages in THIS Ford truck parts catalog, what the hell else could they be?

Haha good point, hey number dummy I've seen some of your other comments on other threads and you seem to be the expert, do I need the wavy disc in the forward clutch? Or can it be removed it add another clutch disc?
