There's plenty of discussion on them and you will have to remove the caliper to determine. Potential culprits include frozen pistons, frozen pins in the caliper and degenerated brake lines.
thats all i need to finish this project. or should i run it to the same fuse that i got key on power from? thanks for any help
Depends on which gauges your using. If they are glow shift then you may need to use the head light power. The dimming circuitry is built into the gauge and it just dims by a set amount when headlights are turned on. If you tap into the dimmer circuit they won't backlight at all.
if you have the glow shift gauges, i personally wouldnt worry about hooking up the dimmer lights, i drive around mostly at night and i dont have the dimmer hooked up, they dont cause any distraction for me atleast.
