Mid 50 Adjustable Suspension Hangers
#2
Front of the rear spring
Rear extended y hanger and the Mid Fifty bracket
God these are big pictures !!!
The fit is excellent...don't really know exactly how much lower it will be from stock. I have a set of Posies super slider springs on also.
With this set up I have 3.5" of clearance between the axle & frame.
My rear end sits below the springs

I bought them from Speedway Motors and they were a little cheaper. Also Speedway had a special going on, all orders over $100 was only $10 shipping. So I saved a lot on shipping charges.
My truck isn't on the road yet so I cant comment on ride quality.

2" wide, same as stock. They sell the frt hangers as a pair, rears brackets individually, and the Y-hangers as a pair.
So no not sold as a complete kit

Don't mean to drag up an old thread, but I am getting my truck thru rego and rego guy says my rear shackle bushes are rubbing metal on metal. My truck is too high up the bum end, so I have ordered a set of the rear (front) adjustable hangers. I am assuming then, that I need those matching rear hangers as well?

I think the shackles are okay, just all the bushes are shot.
I did want to lower the truck a fair bit and thought these might be killing two birds with one stone; that is, new bushes and shackles as well.
Expensive way to go, but since I am not sure what needs to be replaced, might as well do both sides of the rear spring.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but if someone can just confirm this little query...
so, a setup like the one above from, say, Midfifty, encompases:
2802 extended y hangers
2840 Extended Y Hanger Pin & Bushing Kit
2811-A spring hanger rear replacement
2810-A Spring Hanger, Rear, Adjustable

You don't need the pin & bushing kit-2840. The frt hangers and the Y shackle come withy delron bushings for the spring. I THINK the rear hanger comes with the delron bushings also. You will have to press out the lower brass bushings in the new Y shackle and use the delron bushings. The picture in their catalog doesn't show the bushings in the rear hanger but the description says it comes with bushings & hardware.
