Stalled in Allentown PA
Last night pulled in at rest stop in Allentown and truck started surging then stalled put dieselkleen in and topped off tank but no luck eventually would not run at all. Had it towed to ford in Allentown and this morning started right up running fine. Having them change fuel filters. Not sure what to do got to get back to ithaca my about 3 he drive any thoughts? So I had them change the fuel filters and clean MAP sensor ( cleared the tube ). Truck ran perfect rest of the way home. Never had that problem before. I'm guessing the fuel gelled? Technician said the filters looked ok. The heat would not work when it started this morning. He pulled the fuse and put it back in and the module reset and works fine again. Should I be looking for anything else? I'm back in Ithaca

My truck jelled while running down the road in Pa this weekend,I never heard of that happening but it just goes to show ya -11 is cold and can make weird things happen. The diesel tech at the service station said it has to do with the altitude and the cold.Told me they triple up on anti jell up there

Altitude can effect the boiling point but never have I heard of the freezing point.
I would more inclined to just say it's too damm cold.
I think he just made that up.
Here is why. They are talking about water and liquids

I had driven thru a street that was flooded from a water main break and had a lot of ice accumulated under the truck. I had not noticed this at the time. I always add dieselkleen but had not in a couple tanks. after stalling I dumped double the amount but it wasnt till morning before it would start again. It has been ridiculously cold here in the finger-lakes region of NY for the past 4 weeks now. They showed me the ice at the shop and after changing the fuel filters I went to a car wash and got the rest of the ice off. Just never had this happen before and wondering if there is something I could have done to prevent this or if maybe somthing else is going on. Thanks for all the responses.
