Rattle can paint maych 2003 F150

Has anyone had good success using a rattle can to paint small body parts? I'm looking to replace one the side door moldings on my '03 Lariat (Arizona Beige) an would like to paint the part myself. It's kind of weird but those moldings seem to be curling out on the ends and one of those edges must have gotten caught on something and damaged.

Thank you

Yes, most every auto body paint supply store can actually color match the existing paint and put it in a spray can for you.

Spray cans are okay for small parts but as Beechkid said you need to go to a quality body shop and get them to color match it there and then.
Remember that some of the light colors can dry down a little darker and your truck has some age and fade on it by now so cut and polish the area you need to match up so the painter can have a good area to .
Plastic parts most always dry a little different in color as well but the little part your going to do won't be a problem.
