There used to be a guy on here that sold ford parts for a good discount, he worked at a dealer and got let go or something. I bought plugs and wires from him before. My V10 is coming up on 90k and I figure I should be doing plugs soon. Since there is 10 of them I'm wondering where is the best place to get them? I had since bought parts from a local ford dealer who was giving my 20-some percent off most things but last couple times I went in he wasn't there and they charged me full list price. Those were pricey brake pads!

Also any particular kind of anti-seize I should put on the threads or anything? I have some of the silvery stuff is that ok?

I think your referring to parts guy Ed, horizonpartsguy.com has decent prices, tousley/ auto nation white bear lake also has good deals through there internet services. Rock auto works too, just make sure and use a 5% code.

 

Use nickle-based anti-seize, Permatex +#77124, 8 Oz. I get mine through Amazon, couldn't find it anywhere locally even with that number.
