I was a Sirius subscriber for several years and decided to drop them in May. I get junk mail from them but have never received a phone call to renew. Lucky me, I guess.
One of my pet peeves when riding with someone is when they turn the radio up and then try to have a conversation with me. We need to either have a conversation or listen to the radio. Not both. When I have someone in the truck, the radio stays off, unless they are mad at me. That leaves Sirius to my rides to and from work. I just didn't use it enough. If I spent more time in my truck alone or riding with people I didn't want to talk to though, I would renew.

So decided to head out to the desert before the thanksgiving craziness.
I can't stay enough how much I love this truck. Fully loaded trailer. Chewed up the Tehachapi grade like it wasn't there. Cruise on 65. Only time had to touch brakes/throttle was a semi that was passing a slower semi.
Here are a couple of photos to enjoy.

It was a post card weekend out there. No wind, high 60's, mid 30's. Perfect desert weather. We were bummed we had to come back.

Roy,
Just outside InyoKern, Ca. South west of Ridgecrest.
Hey 14 north of Ricardo Campground (Red Rock Canyon)
The area is called Dove Springs. A we have been coming here since 2002. Kids have grown up on/in this dirt.

Our Costco had one of their Roadshows and I got the smaller one for the house. Then the wife noticed the "portable one" even included a carrying case and small inverter. With all the fire restrictions in the California mountains now, BBQ was starting to be a pain.
So I now have this one onboard the trailer. I have used it several times it works great. I have not tried to run it off the inverter yet though.
Here is some info on it.
