I have a 74 f100, and I'm one of the crazies who wants to put the vacuum system back together the way the factory did it. It is a 74 f100 with a 302, carbon can on frame. I cannot find a diagram anywhere.

 

This is what I have so far from just guessing...

 

This isn't the original factory diagram for a '74 F-100, but in case it helps here's one I modified from an '83 Mustang (by deleting the smog pump system) for the engine I'm dropping into my '74 F-100. I color coded the EGR green and the spark advance yellow, for my own convenience.



For an original 2V carburetor setup on these trucks, I would make the following modifications to the above:
- Ignore the second charcoal canister/purge valve/bowl vent solenoid, since the 2 barrel carb only has one fuel bowl
- Ignore the second air cleaner diverter valve since we don't have a dual-snorkel air cleaner
- Ignore the "VCS" vacuum switch
- Ignore the heat valve circuit unless you have a vacuum-controlled exhaust heat riser setup in place
- Plumb the brake booster (if applicable) and HVAC controls (if applicable) directly to manifold vacuum
