1997 / 7.3L can't get running.

Hi all, looking for a little help with this. Here is the break down. i purchased a project truck (97 7.3L 146,000) its is good shape and doing a lot of work like replacing the shackles in the rear etc. all the normal stuff. I punched it about 35 miles away from my home and drove it from there with out a problem. when I got to my house i noticed a fuel leak. So I did what any of us would have done and changed the fuel lines and fuel pump from the pump back to the liens on the frame (that are new already). Man, it was a job but got it done in a weekend. went to fire it up and she won't start.... The fuel bowl its filing and it almost seems like there is very little suction in coming from the fuel pump if any.

any ideas?

questions?

Please let me know.

Check fuel pressure at the schreader valve(valve stem) with a cheap tire valve. You should have a minimum of 15 psi to start

Did you remove the fuel pump during your repairs?

I'm assuming you pulled the fuel bowl as well. Did you take it apart and clean it, possibly loosing the fpr ball or have you checked the screen in the bowl.

cleaned it, blew air through.... didn't take it apart and didn't see FPR ball. where is that located? is it bottom of the black center stem in the fuel bowl?

Double check that you got all the wires hooked up.
