Hey Guys,

I just purchased an 88 Ford F250 with the 7.5L. I apologize ahead of time if this is a repeated question but I couldnt find anything when searching through the forum.

Does anyone have a diagram of the front suspension? Seems to be sagging quite a bit and I am going to be replacing alot of parts throughout this year.

Any advice is appreciated.

Sagging is typically the springs but certainly check out the ball joints too and while you're in there replace all the drive axle U joints which typically dry out from lack of use.

 

Great thanks. Are there supposed to be coil springs and leaf springs in these trucks? Looks like I have just leaf and a shock absorber.

2wd or 4wd?

2wd has coil spring front and leaf spring rear.

4wd has leaf spring front and rear

 

Its 4wd. Any suggestions on upgrading the suspension on this truck? Will mostly be used for plowing and light farm work.
