4wd conversion to F450 2wd

My buddy has a 1989 Super Duty F450 and it's a good old truck just wanting to convert it into a 4wd. Just curious if anyone out there have done anything like this or not without it being a Royal PIT_A.

Not that big of a job when you have a 4x4 FSD donor truck with the same type of transmixer and wheelbase as you will need a new rear drive shaft.
