60? f100 front suspension help...

Good afternoon. I bought a 1960 f100 frame with 56 f100 body on it. IT'S A LONG SAD STORY. I knew that both front wheels were not located the same in their respective wheel wells. I took the engine out the other day and noticed the front axle is not even from side to side. One side is farther back than the other. Before I start to try to figure out what is wrong I want to establish whether the suspension parts are for a 60 or from a 56. I've run into this problem before and just managed to work around it. Anyone got any ideas?

Could be a wrong spring on one side or the locating bolt has sheared and the axle shifted?
