Anyone ever add sliders to the middle row captains chairs?

My third row gets used once in a blue moon. Usually the first two rows are enough. I have captains chairs but when I put the drivers seat all the way back it doesn't leave the middle row passenger much foot space, especially for how large the truck is. I've thought about buying a set of eBay sliders and putting them between the second row seat frame and the floor. That way I could keep all the factory features like the flip and fold, but still slide them rearward a few inches. I'm not sure I'll ever get around to it but I have had it on my mind a while.

Sounds like an interesting project. I too have the captain chairs, and this type of mod intrigues me. Please post pics and the process if you decide to give it a go.

I did not know this... I should become better friends with you and start telling you how much everyone likes the rear bench and "help you out" by swapping you mine for yours

I just wish they would have made it like that from the factory. Like vip limo seating for 4 people. Especially consider the rear seat cab be removed. Nonsense wasting that floorspace.

I plan to do this or just simply move the middle seats back a few inches some day. Maybe this summer.

The grease keeps the leather moisturized and soft. It's like armorall.
