64 f350 dually rear brakes

I am searching in vain for brake shoes for my 64 F350 dually. Raybestos part # is PG60. I have tried several early ford part suppliers with no luck. Anyone have any ideas? How much does it cost to have them relined? Anyone done this? Thanks for any help.

I assume you tried NAPA? When I bought my F350 the po had a set of rebuilt shoes front and back from NAPA. You might want to try looking in Hemmings. There are people in there who do relining. I have a rockwell rear axle, I'd think you have a dana. Don't know if that makes a difference in the shoes.

Hello,

I am assuming you have a 350 with a Dana 70 like my 64 dually with DRW, I went on rockauto and Centric make shoes that fit, # 11103200 just search that part number on RockAuto Parts Catalog

Here is the product page...

More Information for CENTRIC 11103200

They fit my truck with 2.5x13 (330mmx63.5mm) rear shoes. Hope this helps!

Got it! Thanks, I looked at the Centrics yesterday and even converted the millimeters to inches and for some reason didn't recognize they were the right ones. Must be the cold air!!

FoMoCo did not offer new brake shoes for these trucks, only the lining was available.

C4TZ-2007-F .. Rear Brake Shoe Lining Kit - 13" x 2 1/2" / Obsolete

Applications: 1957/66 F350's with SRW and DRW

Well its a good thing someone picked up the slack and manufactures the correct ones now for $40 for a set of 4. Pretty inexpensive.

It would cost 1000's of dollars to manufacture new brake shoes, so...

More than likely, what auto parts stores are selling are used brakes shoes with new lining riveted to them.

FoMoCo authorized rebuilders did the same thing.
