These two were great trucks but unfortunately couldn't handle the 5th wheel.

'11 Lariat in Golden Bronze/Adobe. Leveled 2 inches and running 305x55x20 Nitto Terra's

'13 Platinum in Ingot Silver. Leveled with Bilstein shocks running 275x60x20 Toyo AT2's.

This is the point we turned around due to the trail being washed away. During my 12 point turn the flap hung up on a log. I saved it and will reinstall.

Nice work pics, keep 'um coming! You know the truck does work when you see a pintle hitch.

We do not have a refinery, so the oil is shipped to CA, gasoline/diesel shipped back via tanker, so transportation, remote location adds to to the price. Now I'm in the largest city and main port for the whole state, when you leave here the prices just go up!! Remote villages are paying $6-8 a gallon.

I know the struggle. Living in SoCal and my 6.2 is averaging 12.5mpg, meanwhile the wife has a 5.0 averaging a beautiful 19.6mpg.

Hate to say, but no struggle since my work pays for my gas. Also my work is tied closely to the oil industry so higher prices means work.

I have also changes all of the exterior lights over to LED along with the map/dome lights inside. The interior ones have made a night and day difference at night time. Here are a couple of pictures of the new head lights.

Thank you gentlemen - love the truck, and yeah it's the perfect replacement for a 250 (also had one, 06 cclb with the v10) because it tows and hauls like one but stays smooth when it's empty.

Here are a couple more payload pics from today...

More concrete and crushed stone, ~3100lbs each load. Don't pay too much attention to the topper, picked it up over the weekend for upcoming road trip. Not practical for daily use, but sure does give plenty of weatherproof lockable space...
