First post here. I bought this 2013 XLT 5.0 with 96,xxx miles on it at a Ford dealership I do paintless dent repair at. I saw this thing when it was traded in before a detail and it was clean, never been painted on and the interior is immaculate. The only thing I didn't care for was the wheels and tires, but they had some take offs from if I remember right was a 2018 STX 4x4 that the customer had some aftermarket wheels put on. Here's a few pics of it, the second pic is of the original wheels and tires. The only things I have done...so far, is tinted windows and a spray in bedliner.
There seems to be a lot of great information here that I can learn from.

I'm sure that 6.2 has mighty big appetite! Call me a cheapskate, I am; but the first thing I noticed there besides the stunning beauty of Russ' F-150 is the gas prices. Da** I thought PA was high right now at $3.03 in my area! In an oil-rich state how are you paying $3.31/gallon? Is it all taxes? I know that PA has some of the highest fuel taxes in the country. But I also noticed that you're paying a lot less for diesel than drivers here are. Diesel in my area is going for 3.45-3.55/gallon.

We do not have a refinery, so the oil is shipped to CA, gasoline/diesel shipped back via tanker, so transportation, remote location adds to to the price. Now I'm in the largest city and main port for the whole state, when you leave here the prices just go up!! Remote villages are paying $6-8 a gallon.

Actually 13mpg average isn't all that bad considering how much power the 6.2 cranks out, combined with the fact that these trucks aren't exactly light-weights either. There's been times when I've seen averages of around 15 out of my 3.7 liter; according to my Scangauge II. Lately though it's been giving me around 17-18 because I try to grampa it most of the time, and about once or twice a week stomp on it and let 'er run; since these engines seem to like to live in higher rpm range so much.
What kind of gas do you use Russ, premium or regular? I usually run just straight 87 octane through mine. It likes it just fine. I've noticed it does give me about a little bit better fuel economy with premium, but is that extra 1(+-)mpg worth the additional $15 per tank? According to GasBuddy, there is a $.60 spread between Regular and Premium at the gas station closest to my house. I usually fill up at 1/4 tank which means I'm buying at least 20-22 gallons at a time. Do the math and round it up and it's an extra $13-15 that frankly looks better in my pocket than anyone else's!

I could get about 16.5 out of my 10' crew cab with the 5.4. This 2.7 does pretty well. I imagine that number would creep up if I left the front air valance on and even more once it's broken in. 6K miles on it now. Miss the v8 though.
